History
The first Bahá'í to bring the Bahá'í teachings to Suriname, was Miss Leonora Stirling Holsapple, who later became a Bahá'í Counselor. She gave a talk in Loge Concordia in October, 1927. On October 22, 1927 there was an article in the newspaper "De West" about her, and she was described as the "Apostle of Peace."

More history about the Baha'i Faith in Suriname will be published later.
